The d’Affis were the owners of Goudourville Castle in the 17th century. Guillaume d’Affis came from a very old Toulouse family. He was appointed by King Henry III as President of the Parliament of Bordeaux. He worked with Henry IV on the reconciliation of the Catholics and the Protestants.
