Geoffroy de Vivans Bedroom
A calm and bright guestroom with rich blue and silver fabrics, adjoining the Henry IV bedroom.
Geoffroy de Vivans, captain and counsellor to Henry IV, was appointed Governor of Périgord, Limousin and many other territories. When Geoffroy de Caumont, his godfather, died in 1574, Annet de Commarque seized all his properties including that of Goudourville. His wife, Marguerite de Lustrac, used Geoffroy de Vivans to take them back. Geoffroy de Vivans besieged the castles one by one and returned them to Marguerite de Lustrac.
380 sq ft, for two or three people, double bed and a single bed or, on request, three single beds. Lovely bathroom with bath, bidet and WC which is shared with the Henri IV room.
