« We rented this magnificent château to celebrate our wedding with 80 guests.

30 guests stayed here: they appreciated the comfortable rooms, access to the swimming pool and the well-equipped kitchen. The parking lot is suitable for a bus. 

As for the wedding itself, the setting is idyllic. The Honour Courtyard was perfect for the cocktail party at 6 p.m.: pleasant temperature even in very hot weather, live music in the background... It was perfect!

On the west side, the esplanade on the ramparts is an ideal spot for group/couple photos, with superb late afternoon light. 

The banquet took place in the Salon of Honour upstairs - not too hot, not too dark, and suitable for 80 people. 

The rest of the evening, after the cake, was spent in the Guard Hall and bar on the first floor: good acoustics. 

One advantage is that you do not need to decorate too much, or have too many flowers, as the château offers a very beautiful setting! »

“We got married at Goudourville Castle: it was wonderful! And we spent a dream week in the castle afterwards. It was really nice to be able to soak up the place; each room has a different decoration with great taste. We go from the medieval to the 18th century, a real journey through time. The week really went by very quickly, we should have rented 15 days, it was so good. The kitchen is well equipped. The contact with the owner and the caretaker is top. And the swimming pool is always a plus. A brilliant stay with excellent value for money. »

“This castle combines the charm of a medieval fortress (exposed stones, towers, machicolation, arms room, etc.), with the pleasure and comfort of a beautiful, bright residence open to a very beautiful landscape. Furnished and decorated with taste, without ostentation, it exudes an atmosphere of intimacy far from the images that one can have of a stronghold. The welcome is excellent, both warm and discreet. Our hosts were very attentive to our well-being. Excellent breakfast, plentiful and varied, in a sumptuous setting. We appreciated having the keys to the castle, being able to walk there at leisure. We felt like at home there. We were delighted with our stay.
As for the room, we occupied the Caumont room: it had a very nice view and was very comfortable. »

Romantic stay

« The château is super authentic inside and out. Patrick, the housekeeper answered all our questions and gave us good advices. We had a wonderful time with our family during the 7 nights at the château. We celebrated our wedding in the beautiful, intimate church just a few meters from the château. The cocktail took place in the Honour Courtyard, the reception in the Salon d'Honneur on the 2nd floor and the party in the Salle des Gardes. The bedrooms have something very special and are almost all of them are decorated in Renaissance style. The owner gave us a very interesting historical tour of the premises.

A shuttle service can be arranged during the day and evening - indicated by the owner - so that guests can get home safely.

“We organized our wedding at Goudourville Castle: it was absolutely delicious. Our whole family from all over the world joined us at the chateau. Geneviève was invaluable in helping us identify suppliers and resolve any issues. We took advantage of the swimming pool, the large dining rooms. For our guests, the castle was an unforgettable experience. It was also very convenient: there were grocery stores just 5 minutes away by car. The reception took place in the gardens as did the meal the next day and everyone loved the dominant and magnificent view of the surroundings. And the descent to the church surrounded by sunflowers, what more could you ask for as a setting for your wedding!
And then the rooms are very spacious, decorated with great taste and have a lot of charm each in their own way. Just like the bathrooms, clean and "classy".
