“With 8 families who have been friends for 30 years, we spent our second stay at the Goudourville Castle. It's a fairy tale castle with the added bonus of a top-notch welcome thanks to Geneviève, the owner, and Patrick, the caretaker. Almost all rooms have a bathroom, which is comfortable. The decoration transports you back centuries, in a magical atmosphere. There is a kitchen designed for caterers and all the necessary equipment for meals. The pool is secure, which was a must for us. “We visited beautiful historic villages nearby and spent days relaxing by the pool. Goudourville Castle is totally amazing with a cozy family feeling. We spent evenings dining inside the impressive "guard room" and outside in the lily-scented inner courtyards. We played games in the bar and made homemade cocktails before enjoying our historic rooms. We booked it online and we did not regret it. »

“I had the honor of living at the Goudourville Castle for a whole week. We were a group of photographers, who wanted a special place to shoot with 5 models from the UK. I had high expectations before I arrived, but nothing prepared me for the reality! First of all, the castle and its gardens are large, private and very well maintained. My wife and I had a room at the very top of the stairs, it was the biggest room I have ever slept in. The ceilings are high, the decoration perfect, the floors very beautiful and the view magnificent. Each room is different, all nicely decorated in different colors. To be honest, if we had stayed for a month, we would still find places to take pictures. There are also many reception rooms, all large and beautiful. The pool is large, immaculate and with sun all day. »

"To put us in the mood, we made family pennants to hang in the magnificent guard room of the castle  Thanks to the owner, we met Dame Valérianne who dressed us in medieval costumes , at a low price, for an evening! The medieval dances were of course part of the party! The good addresses sent by the owner were tested without delay! The space, the decoration, the discovery of the history of the castle: everything is done to make you feel on vacation and as good as at home! We recommend it with your eyes closed! »

“I had the pleasure of staying in this incredible chateau for a week in June to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. The rooms are all unique and beautiful and we accommodated our 30 guests comfortably. With a combination of romantic suites and family rooms, several dining and lounge areas, a lounge bar and a fabulous entrance hall, the look and decor is very much in the spirit of a medieval castle. It is a totally unique and authentic castle. At the same time, the kitchen and linens are spotless and there are all the mod cons you could want. We had a wonderful stay in this magnificent chateau. “We stayed 3 days at the castle. What moments of happiness to find yourself in the middle of old stones steeped in history and secret stories. We have done an incredible good in the past. Everything is very neat, clean and very tasteful. The welcome was great. The kids really enjoyed themselves and are still talking about it. The 11th century chapel is very moving and the large reception rooms are very impressive. This total change of scenery is at a really affordable price, you really have to take advantage of it. What I missed the most was not having had the chance to roast a boar in the fireplace and dress up as a valiant knight. Well... I can't ride a horse or sing well under the princess window :-) Next time without fail with friends! We are already starting to get organized. »

“We dream wide awake, in this real castle of the Middle Ages.
It is beautiful, and you can visit it at your leisure. You can even find yourself there alone, at times. In addition, it is very photogenic: a treat. Our hosts knew how to make themselves available. We were able to warm up in the medieval kitchen while chatting with them, around a tea (outside, the storm was blowing). The sun came out the next day and everything lit up.
It's quite exceptional to have the keys to "your" castle and not have to leave it at the end of the visit. No, there, at the end of your visit, you can go to your room and dream near the huge window and read while contemplating - at times - the plain that stretches as far as the eye can see.
An exceptional stay! We still have the photos, but we know we can go back there whenever we want... »

“We spent four glorious nights in this marvelous castle: it couldn't have been better! The rooms of the castle are simply incredible, the gardens where we had lunch very pleasant and the huge swimming pool with table tennis and its shaded lounge area. I was put in contact with caterers, musicians and even a seamstress who rents costumes. She arrived with an incredible range of medieval costumes for our gala evening... They were all fabulous! In the morning, Patrick cooked a delicious breakfast for my 20 guests, which gave us complete freedom to quietly enjoy the chateau, which we did! Memories for life in this truly beautifully restored historic gem....Priceless!! »

“Obviously, the site is exceptional. A castle straight out of the Middle Ages that can be seen for miles around and which majestically overlooks the terraces of the Garonne with its Quercy spur. The welcome from the owners was extremely warm, in this medieval castle, many of the rooms of which have been renovated and are maintained with care and taste down to the smallest detail. One can easily take oneself for a lord of the Middle Ages, when one wanders in all the common rooms, and the surroundings. (…)

“We had rented for a vacation bringing together uncles and cousins. The castle was really fantastic: the decor is just incredible and the children loved it too!! The swimming pool is really very big, which is very important for a group of 20 people with a lot of children. We felt both completely out of time and yet very comfortable. Another very important point for us: the kitchen is very large and very well equipped! Finally, the team was charming: they live in the house right next to the castle, so they were there whenever we needed them, but otherwise we didn't see them during our stay. I really very very warmly recommend this castle to experience a holiday in a special atmosphere. »
